It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Louise Ferencik Scott (Sacramento, California), born in Lakewood, Ohio, who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Andrew Ferencik and Lois Ferencik; her daughter Shauna Mandell (Sam); her grandsons, Zachary and Andrew Mandell; and her sisters, Linda Ferencik (Michael Bremer) of Grass Valley, CA and Laura Bekebrede (Gary).

1966 marked the year that the 66ers spread their wings and dispersed. Karen's wings took her to California. I don't have any memory of seeing her since high school......but my memory is somewhat tarnished at this point. I will try to contact Karen's younger sister to learn more. Karen was a wife, mother, sister, and another cherished 66er. RIP Karen.
