Thanks Bill for supporting our efforts to allow us males to express ourselves in the way we saw fit. Pink hair nets. Thanks coach for the girls gym class! Long hair is for some like us. Free to be the person that cares for freedom of expression. All good. Hope to meet you in our after life.See you soon. Sort of missed all of the classmates that stayed in River and surrounding ares. Comfortable in my new life time home, east coast of Florida. Love you Bill.

Bill was my very first boyfriend. We dated in 10th grade. He was very sweet and fun and my mother was quite fond of him. Even after we had graduated Bill would stop in to say hi to my mom in Halles at Westgate where she worked. He told her about his marriage and birth of his daughter. He was truly a good guy. We had a very nice phone conversation following the 50th reunion. I've thought of him often over the years and he will be missed. But he certainly did adore his wife and his life.  My heartfelt condolences to his family. I hate to see any of us no longer with us. It's painful.

I knew Bill in high school but not extremely well.  Our paths crossed again years later when I discovered that he and Colleen owned and managed a terrific horse stables in the Metro Parks not too far off of the Wooster Road entrance to the park.  Patty and I boarded our horses there for years.  Being down at the stables regularly to ride good old (actually young) Vision, I got to know Bill much better and of course his wonderful wife Colleen. We had many conversations over a cold beer down by the stables.  I was reintroduced to his wonderful sense of humor and his rather relaxed view towards just about everything.  He really seemed at ease with life and enjoyed every moment of it. We could all have taken a lesson from him with regards to those attributes. I  enjoyed the opportunity to get to know the real Bill better for the first time - long after we had graduated.
